Families of students in grades 7-9 are invited to High School Essentials: A Family Roadmap for Student Success, a virtual session covering graduation requirements, academic expectations, key milestones and resources to support students throughout their high school years.

🚗 Slow down and stay alert in school zones.
🚌 Stop for school buses when lights are flashing and the stop sign is extended.
🚸 Watch for students in crosswalks and near bus stops.
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road.
⏰ Give yourself extra time. Arrival and dismissal may take a little longer during the first few days.
👮 Follow directions from crossing guards, SBISD Police and campus staff.
Whether you’re driving, walking, biking or riding the bus, a little extra patience and attention can make a big difference.

We're excited to see the state-of-the-art Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility featured by KPRC2 as we prepare to welcome students for an incredible school year. Welcome back! I hope you have enjoyed a restful and restorative summer. As we stand on the threshold of the 2026-2027 school year, I am filled with excitement for the work we will accomplish together. This year, our collective mission is clear, we will S.O.A.R. towards Excellence!
Our commitment to preparing every student for T-2-4 Technical, 2-year, or 4-year pathways and the military remains the heartbeat of our campus. This school year, our goal is to create a school where every student, staff member and family feels connected, supported and empowered to achieve at high levels. We welcome all families to join us for our Title I Meeting & Orientation on August 12, 2026.
6th Grade Orientation: 9:00 am-10:15 am
7th Grade Orientation: 11:00 am-12:00 noon
8th Grade Orientation: 11:00 am-12:00 noon
